John served in the USAF as flight crew, including 2 tours
in Viet Nam. After returning to the US, he served as an instructor and standarization evaluation pilot until being
discharged in 1977. He retired after 17 years at Intel, Corp., working on IC packaging development and manufacturing,
digital imaging products, and TV internet interfaces. He shows Paint horses, and has over 2500 hours instructing
all phases of flying. He holds an ATP rating with over 13,500 hrs flying time, and fixed wing instructor ratings
for single, multi engine and instruments. He also has a Mechanic's license. John holds advanced degrees in Physics,
Mathematics, with a Phd in Material Science and Engineering.
